Not the service I expected from a professional!

I employed this professional photographer to take our wedding photos. My wedding photos were horrendous and being very upset, my husband complained to them and they made no attempt to mitigate or appease us. Apparently you have to ask to have a formal photo of you and your groom together at your own wedding and there was I thinking it was a given! Before committing to them I asked how many photos I would get and they gave me a figure and it is true to say that I got that amount but only because I got a b&w copy of every colour photo they took too. They even wilfully destroyed the raw images so we couldn't try and salvage something from them. Sadly for them, we paid our deposit using a Barclaycard so we complained to them and after reviewing the evidence they stated that Dave Spink Photography had breached the contract as they hadn't provided the service they promised and that the photos were not of a good standard. I have given them 1 star as its the minimum you can give. But then again in fairness the Photobooth was great fun and produced the only decent photos from my wedding. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience the profound disappoint I did over the photos but most shocking was their complete lack of interest in how unhappy we were and they didn't care! Everyone has their off days, but when you do, confess and make amends and don't add insult to injury! But please note that if you check Facebook out before booking them as I did, realise that they can delete any negative feedback from their Facebook site so its not really a true reflection of their performance. We are now considering our next move. Good Luck!
